Instructions for Application Procedure
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Before applying the candidates should ensure that they are eligible to apply for the post(s) and ready to comply with the requirements and terms and conditions mentioned in this advertisement.
  2. The last date of Online Application for the Post of Senior Assistant (Technical) is over.
  3. Candidates sponsored by Employment Exchange for the post of Senior Assistant (Technical) to whom letter has been sent by CONCOR can apply online from 10.09.2013 to 29.09.2013 at the online application portal. Other criteria and terms and condition of the Recruitment Advertisement CON/HR/216/6/:13/07/2013 and Instructions for application procedure at this application portal shall remain the same. These candidate should mention their CONCOR Reference Number (as mentioned in the letter issued to them by CONCOR) in the Online Application Form, otherwise their application will not be considered. These candidate should also retain the Letter issued to them by CONCOR for future reference.
  4. Candidates are required to submit their application only through online mode at the application portal on the CONCOR website www.concorindia.co.in at the ‘HR & Career Section’ – Recruitment Notices Sub-Section as per the instructions provided therein. Last Date for applying online is 05.08.2013. Please read the instructions carefully before proceeding for online application.
  5. Candidates are required to deposit the application fee online amounting 150/- plus applicable bank charges for the post of Sr. Assistant (Technical) at the online payment gateway by using their Debit Card/ Credit Card as per the instructions provided at the online application portal at the CONCOR website. Application fee is non-refundable. Payment of Application Fee by any other mode is not accepted and the application may liable to be rejected. Candidates belonging to the category of SC, ST, PwD and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from submission of application fee and they can apply and register their application without payment of any fee.
  6. Selected candidates are liable to be posted at any office/ terminal/ unit of the company at any location at the sole discretion of CONCOR. They are also liable to be transferred anywhere after initial appointment at any location of the company.
  7. Selection Procedure may consist of Written Test/ Interview. No correspondence will be entertained for non-calling of the candidate for the Written Test/Interview or for non-selection
  8. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate
  9. Candidates may submit their choice of test centers. However, the final decision of test centers allotted to shortlisted candidates will be made by CONCOR and no query pertaining to change of Test Centers will be entertained.
  10. No traveling expenses will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the written test. However, candidates appearing for interview will get reimbursement of traveling expenses as per CONCOR TA/DA rules.
  11. Number of posts and place of posting may vary,
  12. Management has the right to cancel the recruitment at any point of time without any notice,
  13. Appointment to the post is subject to the candidate being medically fit as per rules and standards of CONCOR. Appointment of selected candidates may also be subject to reference checks/ police verification,
  14. CONCOR takes no responsibility for any postal delays/loss.
  15. Candidates must strictly observe that the details furnished by them in the online application are true to the best of their knowledge and they are eligible to apply for the concerned post. At any stage (even after appointment). If it came to the knowledge of the management that the candidate has furnished wrong information or they are not eligible as per advertised eligibility criteria their candidature/services may be cancelled/terminated without assigning any reason,

Candidates are required to regularly visit CONCOR website www.concorindia.co.in at the ‘HR & Career Section’ – ‘Recruitment Notices’ Sub-Section for all updates including list of candidates called for written Examination and interview and for the Syllabus, Date & Venue for Written Examination/Interview and other information/ notices,
  17. In case of any ambiguity arises on account of interpretations in versions other than English, the English version will prevail,
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  1. Age, qualification and experience may be relaxed for deserving departmental/internal candidates and for others as per CONCOR Recruitment Rules and Procedures at the discretion of the CONCOR Management.
  2. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) will be made as per Govt. of India rules applicable to the corporation.
  3. Age will be relaxable in case of Ex-servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) / SC / ST / OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules applicable to the corporation. Age is relaxable for internal candidates as per CONCOR Recruitment Rules and Procedures,
  4. Persons with disability of 40% or more only will be considered for relaxation applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). It is necessary to have a valid Disability Certificate with the PwD candidates.
  5. If the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination are in CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) terms, it should not be lower than 7 point in the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) scale of 10 or equivalent percentage which should not be less than prescribed percentage of marks for the category applied for and it should be indicated in the application as per norms adopted by the University / Institute.
  6. Mere fulfillment of eligibility conditions will not entitle an applicant to be called for written test/interview. If more than adequate numbers of eligible applications are received, CONCOR reserves the right to shortlist the candidates for written test/interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
  7. The candidates who qualify for interview after written test will be required to produce all certificates/ testimonials in original and NOC-No Objection Certificate (for candidates from Govt. / Semi Govt./PSUs). Candidates who fail to submit these documents and/or not found eligible for the post may be rejected.

  9. In case of doubt regarding interpretation of advertised eligibility criteria and terms and conditions, the decision of the CONCOR Management shall be final and binding.
Note:
  • No query pertaining to change of Test Centers for written test will be entertained by CONCOR later. Test Center for the post of Sr. Asst. (Technical) will be at Delhi only.
  • Admit Cards for Written Test/ Group Discussion/ Interview for valid candidates will be downloadable at the CONCOR website after the declaration of the schedule. Candidates will be required to carry their Admit Card at the time of Written Test/ Group Discussion/ Interview after pasting recent coloured passport size photograph(s) duly attested by a Gazetted Officer in Admit Card. They will also be required to carry a prescribed valid Photo ID proof.
  • The candidates who qualify for interview after written test will be required to produce all certificates/ testimonials in original and NOC-No Objection Certificate (for candidates from Govt. / Semi Govt./PSUs). Candidates who fail to submit these documents and/or not found eligible for the post may be rejected.
  • Candidates should ensure that particulars submitted in the online application are complete in all respects.
  • Incomplete online applications and applications without correct application fee details (wherever required) may be rejected.
  • CONCOR Employees i.e., Internal candidates and candidates from Govt./Semi Govt./PSUs are required to send the printed online Registration Slip after completion of online registration through proper channel to GGM (HR), CONCOR Bhawan, C-3 Mathura Road, New Delhi-110076. Remaining candidates are not required to send the printed online registration slip.
  • The schedule for Written Test/ Group Discussion/ Interview of shortlisted candidates will be announced at this application portal. Please visit this application portal regularly for all information/ updates/ notices.
